I didn't tub mine, but I should have. Instead I used a sledge hammer and beat the firewall back as well as trimmed the body mount and pinch weld. 37's clear at full stuff, lock to lock though. I just took the coilover out and let it off the jack and beat on anything that rubbed.

Well ya, you almost always have to tube with 35s on 1st gens to get rid of all the rub.

Truck is actually cleaned and washed and the interior is spot free. It actually looks pretty good without a cm of dust all over it.

 

Cleaned the inside and outside too. Trimmed the plastic behind the bumper now just gotta finish wiring the leds and mount the hellas.

Truck looks great! Looks like it was good weather over there to, its been so nasty hot over here!

 

my entire truck is fucked from moab. body damage galore but not to the extent that monte took.

 

Actually its mostly been hot and miserable, this is the third or fourth decent rain weve gotten all summer. Figured it was better to wash it on a semi cool day even if it rains rather than a 100+ death valley.

haha what isn't messed up is the better question. every body panel is dented or scratched, every wheel is scratched to hell. The interior still has red dirt in the carpet that won't come out. one of my sliders is bent still.

 

Damn son. at least you dont have to worry about hurting it on the trail anymore lol

The dust did suck..although Jon and I hit a section in lander that was so freakin dust we had toseperate for a mile or so so we could actually see the road..

And you bent a slider? I didn't know your truck got that thrashed..knew you had a couple of body scratches..but now seems like thing are worse?

As for dust, come try these scoureo roads in the oil patch. Just friggen red and settles and sticks to everything.

Dented body panels are no fun but everything else will buff out.

 

Ya man that's what we hit, the Chugwater formation. Freaking sucked. I was following Jon and we were just puttin along at like 20 amd then BAM! I couldn't see shut and slammed on the brakes fearing another Moab incident

yea i dented the drivers door, beat the hell out of the p/s bed keeping jared from rolling over. Bent the d/s slider to the point I had to kick the door open. and there is no paint left on the door or the slider.

one of the EZ-Ups got blown into the d/s /bed and dented and scratched it the first night at BFE. the EZ-Up got stuck between the bed and the slider and beat the hell out of the bed side
