    you could by those load braces for 20 bucks. and they ratchet. what is the final product suppose to be. trying to rap my head around it:confused:

    what do you think if you made:
    a ladder like structure
    from rails would raise up six inches at a 45 degree angle
    traverse the distance of the bed on a level plain
    lower back down at a 45 degree angle to the opposing bed rail.
    make the rungs of the the structure six inches long
    evenly spaced through out.
    id would pay 75 dollars for it welded up unpainted.
    would think a light thin material would be good do to the strength of the overall structure.
    what are your thoughts:)

    Ran the hot under the battery, ground on the passenger side, no wires showing for the scan gauge which I like. The winch isn't the finished product just temporary for my Colorado road trip. I'm going to mount the controller in the cab & move the controller under the hood.

    i think it would be useful as a tie down also light rack flag holder antenna structure. if its tubed; easy to run wires. its kinda all around useful just a thought
