Does the scoop actually grab any air...... I have heard from numerous sources here on TN and on XRU that the scoop even if modified doesnt pull air in.... something that the scoop is not high enough off the hood or far enough forward to actually grab the air.

Do those people not have to pick bugs out of there filters when they clean them? Cuz if so I'd like to know their secret... :D

Bugs will get into the filter thru any opening. The hood scoop lies in a low pressure area of the hood. To have a "Functional" scoop, it would have to be placed into the air stream, or in a high presure area of the hood. There is a thread on here that has pics and everything. I have looked into this pretty deep, and have found the 2 places in which would yeild "Ram Air" is at the front of the truck, or at the base of the windshield.

Thanks guys, haven't had a Toyota since my '92 V6 I traded in back in 2004 so I'm excited about this ride. Anyone know the best place to pick up a manual? also a manual and maybe a remote for the Pioneer Navi system?
