    allpro long travel, shackle flip with ome dakars, cruisin offroad bumpers and sliders, 4.88 gears with arb's front and rear, budbuilt skids.
    Fuck 60's, my ultimate axles are 14 bolt centers with overson axle shafts and rockwell outers. Just like Tim Cameron built for his show time buggy, since he was popping Dana 60 rcv axles everytime he ran his buggy.

    Haha i knew jonathons truck would come up. He is a friend of mine and i have wheeled with him numerous times. He inspired me to build my truck the way i have...bit alas he sold it last year and no longer wheels :-(

    I will never own a rig that can see street. Its asinine. There is no point in driving it. Why skimp out on shit that makes you better on the trail to be able to drive it on tar? Makes absolutely no sense IMO. I have a tow rig, and a trailer. A buggy would be better than my truck since they are lighter.

    Well I have to make mine driveable on the street haha, I dont have a long ommute to either wheeling or work and school. But I want to be able to take it more difficult places than IFS can take me. So I hae to build something in between. If I had the option I'd agree with Supra but I dont so I gotta do what I gotta do.

    Which is fine. You aren't building a trail rig. I am only talking about trucks that see wheeling many times. I too should of just built my truck to DD, but now I own a trailer, and another truck... With paymens :rolleyes:

    However, I NEVER have to worry about making it home (god forbid the tow rig breaks :eek:) I don't even need spare parts really. If it breaks I just get it to the trailer. (Though spare parts make it so you can continue to wheel :)

    I always bring spare pars haha! I wish I coul build a trailer rig, but maybe later. For now just trying to SAS my truck is enough. I bought my truck cash down at he dealership so I dont have payments haha. I just heel with dudes who have tricked out jeeps all the time and hate having to park the taco and jump in with them. I have broken many things trying to keep up wth them and have been suprised as to how far I have gotten but am not naive enough to think my IFS caan keep up with them.

    Jeeps in my area can't even go half the places a mild IFS can due to wheel base.

    Jeep and a tacoma are apples and oranges really... :p

    Yep... Now I want to mod the tow rig since I am bored of it being stock :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

    So would it be easier to get new axles or to use the third member from the LC and get new housings?

    It will be MUCH easier to get a dana 60.

    Stuffing the LC 3rd and using D60 outers with a new housing would be SICK though. But more $

    Hard to say, if you can find cheap D60 outers. Than a housing will probably be equivalent. The housing will be far superior due to lighter weight, stronger, and slimmer.

    I will ignore you IFS haterz!

    And offer help anyway...you will be money ahead to just get a D60 and use it, but the bling would be the LC third and 60 outers. While I am sure Ruffstuff or Diamond could get you something to work, I would call Currie.

    They build that style very frequently (actually Toyota 8" center with D60 outers and knuckles). I have a buddy that runs a 8" with 60 outers and knuckles and thats the best axle I have laid eyes on. An 8" would just be silly, so the LC 9.5 would be titties.
