The fact that Flowmaster got so many votes says a lot about the age of the people on this forum. I thought Flowmasters sounded good on 4's and 6's too when I was 16.

Get a V8 and put Dual Flowmasters on it, that sounds good.

Thanks to this thread I realized how old I am today.

Loud 6 cyl's sound terrible, you may disagree but to each his own. Very few sound o.k. IMO Like a Porsche or Honda Motorcyle w/ a flat 6 w/ pipes.

http://youtu.be/0cEQaD2-E1I I am sure I could find more/better vids if I took the time.

    Rest sound like butt.

Ya but does it sound like a ricer. I mean I know it's a v6 and all but on the videos they just seem all to import car sounding. Got a video of it yet?

I meant to quote the post above mine. Sry. And I like the sound of that. At least on vid. I am running no muffler now with a 5 inch tip. I think it sounds real awesome. It is just pretty f$&kiN loud. Real deep for no muffler though. Oh is that a 14" or 18"

Previously had a Dynomax 6" round on a 4.3 V6 S-10 that sound OK but was relatively quiet, had a 5"x14" round Magnaflow on a V8 Tundra that sound very nice everywhere but 2-2200k RPM. I'm about to put a 20x9" Dynomax on my Tacoma V6. Sorry no cool videos or sound clips. Shop Ebay for the best prices IMO, you should be able to find a new muffler for $50 or less.

Mines just cut off before the stock muffler location... Sounds really good to me! Still trying to figure out what I want to do but my stock muffler was rusting out and it was time for it to go. Thinking something that runs out the bedside eventually.. But probably keeping the straight pipe.

I have a gibson catback exhaust. I love it for the price i think i paid $270 for it and I installed it the same time with my AEM Brute Force CAI! Greatest mods i have done at once! Significant improvement in throttle response and power. Sounds great and was very easy to install.
