Too easy (unless you put your stock springs/spindles back in as well, forget to take off the spacer lift that you had on them, and then wonder why your nose is pointing at the sky)

I wonder who that guy was that did that.............????

Removed the Mud Flaps, Rock Deflectors and Head Rest. Limo Tint, I had 3" Toytec Lift, Procomp Nitrogen ES6000 shocks and Struts. AllPro UCA, AFE Pro Dry drop in filter, WeatherTecs. Now I have LR UCA's, Maxtrac Spindles, Eibach's, 5100's up front, Expos, 5160 for the rear, U Bolt Flip Kit, and Extended Brake lines.
Ok I have a question for those who have installed their own spindles.
Im at the point that i have to install the tie rod but i can't get it to tighten. When I try to tighten the nut, the bolt on the ball joint just keeps turning.
    Any suggestions.

Hit on it with a hammer while you try and tighten it..an impact would work the best

Na, what I was trying to explain is how to put it back. I have the new spindle installed just can't get the ball joint in the tie rod to tighten because it.keeps on spinning.

I used a large C clamp at a slight angle to press them together while i tightened the bolt with a air gun.

Clean the nut and threads on the tie rod as well as you can. Lubricate both and it should go on. If not try holding as low as you can on the threads with a pair of needle nose pliers than try to tighten. Do not over tighten that is why you have a cotter key. Also you might need a new outer tie if you replace it count the turns when you remove it. Put the new one on with the same amount of turns. It will keep the vehicle drive able until you get an alignment. Broken tie rod is bad news. Hope this helps.

Ok I got it done! It was quite simple. I just got a rubber mallet and gave it a few pounds till it wedge in. From there it was good to tighten.
Thanks for the replies! Now bleed the brakes and to get an alignment, hope the guys at the dealership understand how to align with the LR UCA. Cross my fingers!

I will post pics after the alignment and the Suspension settles.

yea, I was thinking billys at 0" and maybe Eibachs for the 1.6 or so they provide or something along the lines of that...

I change my original thought and bet he is at 5.6" or so of lift....

    Maybe he will chime in.
