Interesting wheel design. The rim shells are spun to form the mounting flange, eliminating the wheel center. Wonder if something like this exist for Tacomas.

Missing alot of the back story to this for me to call it a WTF.

 

To explain this video, in 2001, the Kansas DOT revoked the salvage certificate for Danny Lambeth's company (Kansas Truck Wholesale) for failing to abide by existing state laws. He ignored that revocation and continued to conduct salvage business.

In 2002, the county ordered the company to ensure oil & fuel wouldn’t run into a nearby water source, remove trucks and debris from the public right of way, operate the business only within the boundaries of his own property, create a passage for emergency (fire, etc) vehicles, screen the operation from public view, and obtain proper certification from the state.

Lambeth filed several appeals, all rejected by various courts. When he still refused to comply (at this point, now 7 years later), the county obtained an injunction from the court allowing it to remove all salvage materials from his property. The county hired another salvage company to accomplish that. After several confrontations, the county also obtained a restraining order to keep Lambeth from entering the property throughout that process. In this video, he was trying to enter the property, despite that restraining order.

In other words, instead of an innocent property owner victimized, what you see here is a man persistently refusing to comply with the laws and restrictions every other similar business (vehicle salvage) within that state routinely complies with.
