What happened to global warming?

Arguing that fact and proving that fact are 2 different things. If we everyone in the world stopped driving cars today do u really think that will stop or slow global warming?

As we have said before humans are not the sole cause of global warming

 

I've often wondered what effect if any the high altitude atmospheric nuke tests of the '50's had on the upper atmosphere / ozone

 

If the scientific community is "pushing" climate change suggests an agenda.

I was commenting on the "pushing" part of the subject.

Again...if one does not believe there is a political agenda attached to the issue, one must have head in sand. (or, possibably be of the mindset of those with the political agenda)

 

I would not. I just don't see it impacting the planet as much as people seem to think.

That doesn't mean we should purposely try to destroy it though. I think more important than what long term affects we may initiate are the more devastating short term affects we cause. For instance an oil spill, while insignificant 10,000 years from now is absolutely devastating in the short term. Same with clear cutting forests, 10,000 years from now if left untouched by humans, you would never know we cut a single tree. In the short term though it is significant.

The Global warming issue is far less of a concern in my opinion than many other things occurring. While I don't disagree that exploring cleaner fuels and more environmentally friendly SOP's is something we should be doing I just feel its like worrying about getting lead poisoning from being shot.

 

Lets not involve politics into this. Everyone knows that every world concerning issue will be used by politics.

I was being sarcastic. Everyone has the right to their opinion. The only people I think are crazy are the ones making laws based on their opinion. What if we told everyone that recycles that its now illegal and they need to stop NOW! lol Im being sarcastic again

The economy, hunger, war, genocide, trying to stop the nationalization of our heath care.....just a few I would consider more important than global warming
