Can anyone tell me whats going on with my truggy? I've got the BrushlessHobbies.com ESC and a sidewinder 1410 3800kv motor.

Steering works great. Give it throttle... nothing...

There's a red light that constantly flashes on the ESC. When I give it throttle the light goes solid. I've tried every combo of motor wires and resoldered any possible bad connections. (Although it's possible i've missed one)..

How did it quit running? Fine last time out, or die in the middle of a pack? Tried resetting the ESC? Have another motor you could try to rule that out?

You can keep a eye on rccrawler or rctech, seen a few forsale on there.

I just got mine last week and have no intentions on getting rid of it, matter of fact I have another one on the way, haha.

The best I can remember it was a hard landing, then it acted like the wires were crossed up. (just sort of turned back and forth)..

i have another motor to try, but I'm thinking maybe it's the connectors on the ESC. (I soldered them on so.... yea....)

Do these motors ever just take a dump?

Only thing I've ever seen a motor (brushless) do fail wise, is spin the magnet on the armature shaft, of course bearings can seize. Not saying its not possible (another type failure) I've just never seen one and I've ran brushless for over ten years. Now, I'm thinking your ESC has crapped out, just my guess.

the motor turns over just as free as it always has.... I'm gonna redo the connectors and not half-ass them like i do everything else. Maybe that'll fix it...
