Typically I don't like bikes but the driver of that car needs to be put away for a long time.

I stopped reading at "out of fear for his safety". No offense man but that's pretty laughable, ramming into a bike out of fear for his safety, not likely.

Not saying the driver was in the right or had any right to turn his vehicle into a battering ram. When I said that I was just pointing out what will more than likely be his explanation of his actions but clearly both sides are asshats and should be charged with reckless driving.

I really hope you're not a biker... Dipshits that carry rocks, ball bearings or marbles in their pockets for 'safety' are fucking idiots and give all bikers a bad name.

While on a bike, if someone in front of you is pissing you off, pull over, cool off, then get back on the road. If someone is behind you and pissing you off, the last thing I'd want to do is throw something at them. Now you've got a pissed off driver behind you in a car... Brilliant! You can't have road rage on a bike. You can get into a pissing match with a Fiat 500 and it'll win.

That video got posted on a motorcycle forum a couple weeks ago. General concensus is both sides are equally at fault although the car driver took it to another level by actually hitting the biker.

These threads make me laugh, always alot of tough guy talk. Like it was said before, we don't know what started it, also none of you know being the one in the car what you would do in that situation unless your in it. Looked like a pretty large group of motorcycles to me, against 1 guy. Maybe one of the DB bikers flashed a gun, who knows. Not sayin the guy in the car is a good guy, he did get arrested for drugs, but still, we don't have the whole story. So I wouldn't take sides untill we did have the whole story. 3 sides to every story, theirs, yours, and the truth.

Really? You'd really follow somebody to their house and commit a felony, endangering the lives of the person in the car, his wife, his children, (not to mention his neighbors) b/c he disrespected you on the road?

The internet tough guy is strong with this one.

This... Don't know anything but what the video shows, and all we can tell for sure is that everybody involved was acting pretty dumb.

have a similar story...did this to a guy in a bmw m3 on the road at 55mph going down the Roosevelt boulevard in the northeast (philly) after he cut me off, then tried running me into the median. Saw him flying through traffic...moved over and was ready, always planning 2 steps ahead while riding...still cut me off the girl on the back (which it was her first time on a bike) almost went over my head cause i hit the breaks so hard and she lifted up...no more then 6-12 inches of space when he came over...i flipped him the bird. it was some punk in his daddy's M3 looked like he was in a hurry for the jersey shore auditions...then he tried running me into the median at 55. He got closer and closer in my lane...life or death cause he was so close...i started kicking in his door and mirror with my boots. got to a light...he slammed his breaks almost slid into me. i heard the door pop open and knew it was gonna get ugly.

im in full gear and he walked right up to me and got in my face about kicking in his door/mirror...i told him if he didnt get back in his car id put his f'n head through the windshield after i broke every god damn bone in his body. he got the message (not to mention everyone else on the road was stopped and saw the whole thing. i had one guy get out of his truck and come up behind me cause he saw the whole thing). Needless to say he got back in his car...cept i lost the girl..she freaked out and was hysterically crying and walked to the closest gas station. had to have a buddy pick her up, and now she will NEVER get on another bike (which is the worst thing)

so i should have let him run me off the road??? dont get it... i really wasnt asking for any of it. you are helpless on a bike, and getting flipped the bird is common, im sure you all have done it or gotten it. getting run off the road purposely while there are three lanes of traffic and when im doing nothing wrong in my lane...yea he came at me i defended myself, the girl and my bike.

you can face palm all ya want but when your in that situation i would hope you would do something to protect yourself.

Bikers instigated it by hanging with the car and circling him to the point where he felt threatened. Guy in the car snapped and went too far though... Both parties in the wrong.

ok tough guy..chill the hell out for one...for two what the hell was i suppose to do...people get flipped the bird every two seconds, i decided to flip him the bird cause he was driving like an ass...this dick wad then decided it was cool to then deliberatly try to run me off into a median at 50+mph. he can get his door/mirror fixed, you cant scrape 2 people off the ground and fix them

next time i wont do anything and il let em hit me and kill me and the girl how about that.

    cause that makes real sense

Hey Joel, I ride too, as many here do, and when riding, ESPECIALLY when you have somebody riding b!tch, you gotta stay level headed and stay out of harms way. Should never confront while on a bike in general, but to do so with a girl on the back, you should know better. I am not trying to start anything, just another rider trying to help other riders stay safe. You gotta identify that the m3 was being as asshat, and stay away from him. Yes, I have been there where cars cut me off, and it takes a lot to not do anything, but that is part of becoming a mature rider.

There are old riders, and there are reckless riders. There are no reckless old riders.

I would have hit the brakes and let him get ahead. Like you said, you're helpless on a bike so don't instigate with someone in a 3000 lb hunk of steel.

I've been run off the road on my bike (out of sheer stupidity of the other driver, not anger), it sucks but you have to let things go.

Also I have never been flipped the bird, nor have I delivered one so I don't know what you're talking about there.
