For those of you who are worried about how easy or not easy it is to remove this stuff I recorded a short video of me removing the tan plasti-dip from my sport wheels.

The dip held up fine, but I decided I didn't like the tan enough to keep it.

Just an FYI for anyone thinking of ordering anything from DipYourCar.com
Ordered Gunmetal grey with glossifier in July 25. They were happy to take my payment.
Called to check on status three days later since I got no tracking number that it shipped; glossifier on B/O, should ship in a day or two.
Called three days later. No answer. Leave message, no call back. Email. Email. Email asking for order to be cancelled.
Finally, August 4th I get notice that order is cancelled...
    Refund payment???
Not yet... I email asking where my refund is on August 6th... No response af of August 13- No refund as of August 13th...
August 13- Open Paypal dispute, email DipYourCar again....
    Let's see where this goes...
    Pretty sad, actually....

Just curious.... why would you do this?

Just for the blacked out look?

And what kind of prep did you have to do on the glass?

I just plasti dip'd my skid plate looks awesome, but theres parts of my frame/tow bar that look a little rusty. would plasti dip work as an undercoating? specially since winter is coming up i would like to undercoat my truck and not pay $200+ for someone else to do it.

i would personally take a little bit of sand paper to the rusted areas and either use por15 or rust spray paint you can get at a hardware store
