Thanks and yeah 98 is proably the hardest because of that bottom tab, haven't tried 01-04 but will pretty soon, is it easier
I want to try a 92 Toyota pickup Satoshi since my dad has a test vehicle for it, and yeah i get a few orders for grilles, you just got to announce it on here and they will come with time

Ive never done a 2nd gen so idk how hard they are but id say the 01-04's are probably the hardest or time consuming since you have to glass top and bottom and sides of it. Makes for a shit ton of sanding. The 98 doesnt look to bad to do as far as the bottom lip goes, only thing id wonder about is how to attatch the mesh to the bottom lip but i ot an idea for it so we'll see how it goes. & ill post pics of the 4runner and 94 pickup grill once i finish. Will probably do the 94 first then this 98 and wait around for someone to buy it.

I will say though when you do an 01-04 use the OEM grill. The aftermarket egay ones suck as far as attaching the mesh. Id much rather deal with the 2 piece oem grill than the single molded piece aftermarket ones. Ive done 2 oem and it just turns out way better imo

 it just makes it easier as far as attatching the mesh. The red one i did i bent and molded the mesh around the edges which was a pain in the ass...

How did you bend the mesh, the one I have is so hard for bending, about the only thing I can bend on it are tabs without a machine

Well damn where are you getting your mesh from??? I use HomerTacos mesh and it bends somewhat east but i basically lay it up and draw a line then pull it off and bend it over a flat surface. I bend all the triangles to fit an they hold themselves in place.

Yeah yours sounds like its easier to use, I picked up the mesh here locally, it's good stuff but nearly impossible to bend without a machine or something

I cant seem to find any locally thus the reason i use his. I have found a sheet locally but its damn near 1/4" thick and i know i wont be able to bend it! I may start gettin serious about making these things in 01-04 flavor and find somewhere to buy this stuff locally
