Removed the Mud Flaps, Rock Deflectors and Head Rest. Limo Tint, I had 3" Toytec Lift, Procomp Nitrogen ES6000 shocks and Struts. AllPro UCA, AFE Pro Dry drop in filter, WeatherTecs. Now I have LR UCA's, Maxtrac Spindles, Eibach's, 5100's up front, Expos, 5160 for the rear, U Bolt Flip Kit, and Extended Brake lines.
From what I know now and after wasting my money on a 3" lift and alignments and then the UCA, Id go with a 4" Spindle lift. The stance is perfect. But I have to give it to the 6" Tacoma's, They just look BAD ASS with the 6". But its not for me. (Tire wear, gas, shakes, more alignments...).

just roll wit a .85 billestin lift......lol jk. thats what i got, but plan on a 3 lift soon. maybe a 2.5 but thats only bcuz thats what i need, im only 2wd

i was also thinking of the spindle lift, which gives 4in (i think)but that maybe be too extreme for my application, plus again im 2wd ....but who knows...

3" is MORE than enough for offroading. In fact, 6" is just crap offroad IMO.. Too tall and tippy.

If i were u id go with a 3" lift spindle (maxtrac, total chaos, camburg)which gives u a 3" lift, coilover shock set at about an 1" or the 5100's set at .85 so 4" in front and then go with all pro expos in the bak with 10" shocks and once they settle in gives u about 4" ish the ultimate stance with some 33's and ur set

I hadn't bothered to look at my old threads on here that I had done when I was thinking of buying my Taco almost forgot I posted some. Can't believe some are still going... And now I finally bought me a Taco 2012 and am ready to start modding.. 3" will be what I go with... Still not sure what setup tho.
I am going to go through this thread and do some reading now that I found it again.

you got to shop look around i got mine on KSL..... Ksl is only a utah thing but ive seen a lot on the internet ebay, Amazon, and forums, if you look you can get lucky. or even used...... stuff like a spare tire carrier doesn't really need to be new... new or used its going to do the same thing, and it doesn't matter if its rusted or the paint is all jacked up the tire covers the whole thing...
