Heading out to location tomorrow to watch us move a rig 40 feet by dragging it with two cranes. Pipe still in the racks and everything. Should be entertaining.

so i think the deal is that the plastic arm rest base is really a tight fit to the door hence the melted points. Now at first my dumb ass used a thicker drill bit and so i fucked up the holes, not leaving me any option to put the screws in. I also drilled one point a little too much giving me a tiny hole in the front side of the panel. . I had to freaking Loctite that shit to my door. Now the foam fabric that i took out to replace it with the leather was a lot thicker so it looked a nice clean fit. But because the leather is so thin, its not really sitting in right.

On the second door, i was very careful and did a lot better job. It depends how you want to deal with those rivets. My suggestion don’t try the drill just get a sharp knife and cut between the rivets and the plastic, this way you will have a tightened grip of screw if it makes any sense. Good luck and let us know how it goes. Don’t be stingy with the adhesive.

I need to help put together a last minute bachelor party. Would you guys suggest padre or port a? Which one is more fun and is more tolerant of drunken buffoons?

You have to see what’s closer to the majority of the people. I would say parde but then many people usually back out just because of how far it is. IF you really want to have fun i would suggest Panama City 10 hrs away 20 times better.

Was just offered a side job at my work. Guy wants me to install EL wire in people's cars and he is working on a new product that is apparently a light up tape. What do you guys think? Lil extra cash might be nice if it's legit.

Thanks. We're pretty much all in Austin. I'd much rather do PCB but it's looking like the dropped ball is rolling towards the coast here. Is the only real difference that SPI has much better water/beach conditions?

Adam had busted his armrest somehow and it was pretty cracked.

So we "welded" it back together with a soldering gun and left over plastic
