That will probably be the cheapest and easiest way to go unless you wanna remove your bumper, tape it off, sand the chrome with 400-600 grit sand paper, prime it , then paint it. Which may take a day or 2

I dipped mine also. I took off the bumper completely along with the plastics. It holds great until you drag it on rocks...

Went out to Lake Mohave yesterday. Thought I'd share a picture.

Cool. Not a bad idea. Unable to do that "tent" mod when at the lake. Truck too tall lol will only have about 2-3ft of room in back of bed

Mojave is where we go jetskiing, it is def better.

Put the tent up mainly to keep everything in the bed out of the sun. We kept the coolers back there, food, etc. The spot we went to was awesome. Perfectly secluded and 4x4 is a must to get to it. We were the only ones out there, not sure if it's because its more difficult to get to, or just too hot for most people.

I know a spot like that that requires some rock crawling but not 4x4 to get to out in Laughlin on the AZ side, it's my private camping spot cause 15ft right outside your tent is the water. Can't wait to go back

We'll be planning a camping trip out there when it cools down. Perfect spot to camp.

Looking to meet some LV Taco people... I'm off Thursdays and Fridays if some people want to meet up? Maybe just a bar or something?

I want to get a better idea of Taco mods, and meet people who actually know what they're talking about. And get some connections for when I want to mod my Taco. I'm not going to just want to take it to a shop and pay them to do everything. I want to buy the stuff and meet up with some people on here to help me learn what is going on my truck.

Definitely in the right spot! When I got my truck a month ago I didn't know $h!t about it but after doing research on here I now know how to remove my front end exterior pieces, (bumper, lights, grill, etc) some pro's and con's on lift kits, tires, and wheels, and how to rip out my interior and custom paint. The knowledge is here, it's just reseaching it. The search function will probably be your greatest friend on here.

I'm in the same boat man! Would love to meet up with some local Taco owners and maybe try and make a regular meet out of it or something down the road. I'm fairly new to the Vegas area as well, only been here about a year and a half.

What part of town are you in?

We could meet up at a PT's, BWW's, etc. which may suffice for everyone's needs/wants. Eat, drink if you want (or not), shoot the shit, whatever.

Yea, between all of us Vegas folk, we can pretty much handle anything. Whether it be assholery, 4th grade math, electronics, derp, Toyota techy, fab, or truck jumping. At least one of us has experience....:D

    Too many to list..
I could be down for something. Just depends on the date.

Setting a date and time is the toughest part. Lots of people have crazy work schedules.

Surprised and glad to see so many responses to meeting up. Good to see that people like the idea of getting together and helping each other out, or just kicking back. Like I said, thursdays and fridays are best for me. I live in the southwest part of town (215 and Rainbow) not sure what works best for everyone but I can see a meet up in the next couple weeks.

The majority of Vegas TW members are in the south. There are only a select few, including myself, in the north.
