My thoughts exactly. Hope no one is dumb enough to fall for it. I want to email him seeing what he will say to me hehe

"Oh the truck is out of state right now and I'm out of country BUT you can buy it and have a week to inspect it after it ships to you to decide whether you like it or not for full refund."

    Something like that, yeah?

They aren't the best mud tire, but I don't intentionally go mud bogging anyway. I run them because they are tough. I shot a fully inflated tire in the sidewall with an M9 (9mm Beretta for you non serving hippies) and the bullet bounced back and hit me in the toe. Ruined a good pair of jump boots, lol. Have you ever seen a HMMWV with a flat? I've seen the rims assembled wrong and leak air before, but the rubber was good. I've never seen one get a puncture though.

So I was looking through others bed bars. What I'm thinking about is a bar like Demello's with the 3 tabs ( 1 center, and 1 on each side 6-8" from the end) but it sits flush or just a little above the bed rails. And secures itself into the factory rail system. Not bolted into a factory cleat

This came in the mail today. Going to have to ream out a hole in the bolts to add a pad lock. Looks good though and sturdy.

Looks good. Is there enough room to put a lock through the bolt?

Yes sir. Will do that at work tomorrow. Think I'll try and drill a small hole and ream it out on a press. I don't want to put any burrs in the threads. Not sure how I'm going to secure the base plate to the truck yet.

Is that a TOW strap, or a RECOVERY strap? Tow straps used off road are spooky...

Wrong strap. Take it back. That's meant for towing passenger cars.

Do a test fit on that antenna mount before getting too far on your project. You may require something different.

    TOO not TO
What type of jack are we talking about? Go shop around online.

Get yourself a handle keeper for the jack. Mine clanged and banged like mad until I got one, and the jack would start climbing by itself :p
