I used to be big into RC when I was in college and a few years after.
Now I got a bunch of crap I never have time to play with any more. Got an 18th scale crawler (Losi MLST fully locked) that eats dogbones, got a nitro 1/10th touring car (Associated TC3) that's in parts on my workbench after I ran it into a curb at like 50mph wide open and tweaked the chassis, got a 1/10th Associated 2WD stadium truck with a Mamba 5700kv brushless in it, it's stupid fast. Got an 18th scale Associated 18t, that thing is lots of fun.

Only one I really get out and run any more is a Losi 8ight 2.0 1/8th buggy. I really dig it. Haven't run it in a couple months though. I need a new battery for my starter box since one of the two bit the dust.

I've got a helicopter (Blade mSR) too that I used to fly around at my office, but I crashed it a while back and haven't repaired it.

    You into it?

I've been contemplating selling pretty much all of it but the 1/8th scale buggy. I just don't have the time any more. I want to keep the buggy though only because it's really durable and has been the only RC thing I've ever owned that I've not had to repair like every other time I run it.

I want the crawler and maybe the stadium truck. What would you take for them?

The MLST battery is shot, However it does have billet lockers in it, and I'm not sure if I've got the original radio. Hell, no radio or batt, with the lockers, say like $50 for it? The stadium truck is an Associated RC10T4 Factory Team kit, with the mamba ESC and motor. The motor and kit alone are about $475 new. I'd take $200 for it, rolling chassis + ESC and motor installed. No radio or batteries. The LiPo's that I had both swelled from not using a LiPo charger (dumb, I know) and so I got scared to use them any more. If you buy them both I'd do $225 for both of them.

Holy shit... yeah... I'd have the baddest fully locked FJZ80 with a D4D diesel swap in town if I had that kind of scratch laying around.

I actually have a jeep now. Imagine that.
I used to be huge into it. I used to have a Savage (can't remember the model), mini-lst (sucks), mini-t (given to me), and an rc18t.

Got rid of all of the but the rc18. I did the whole brushless thing years ago and I'll be honest, its not even fun to play with. I have to run the most fugged up gear ratio just to keep the thing on the ground but still have some throttle response.

I actually just bought two e-revo vxl's on ebay (got two with batteries, charger, etc for 370 shipped. Gonna sell one to kyle). I'm kinda digging the size of the mini's nowadays. I actually wanted the savage flux xs, but couldn't pass this deal up. I guess I'll see what all the MERV hype is about. I figure it will tide me over for a while til I decide to go full 1/10th or 1/8th again.

Yeah I really wanted to like the MLST. The lockers helped stop destroying the diffs, but now it just eats dogbones if you're not careful. Oh well...

Totally agree on brushless. If I put lipos in my RC10T it is straight up retarded. NiMH is borderline stupid, but it's doable if you're careful on the throttle.

That E-Revo VXL looks strong. I've got a buddy with the Bandit VXL and the thing is really stout. I bet they're fun. I dig the mini's too, I just have so little time for it these days that the battery maintenance ends up biting me. It's easy to throw some after run oil in the head and just let it sit until the next time w/o worrying about killing a battery.

I have a gas powered one right now. I like it a lot. Unfortunately, last time I ran it, I forgot to take the nitro out. So, now I have to take the carb off, clean it, and it should start right up again. It is stupid out of the box. I swear it can do about 35 out of the box. I wanted to really have something to throw some mud without taking my truck out in the woods!!! lol
Let me tell ya'll something though! A GALLON of Nitro is $35. A gallon of gas is 3 dollars and some change. If I break the rc car it can sit in the garage though! lol. Ill stick to it!

    You're in it bud.

Btw Keith, do you happen to know what bloats lipos? I've bloated two now and both times have been out of the blue. I take good care of my batteries and it seems like they just bloat for no reason

From what I understand (caveat emptor here... I'm no electrical engineer) if you run the pack down too far, the cells can get out of balance. Then you wind up overcharging a cell if you don't use a balancer and specific charger. I didn't have the LV cutoff set on the Mamba ESC, and I think that's what did it to my pack. My charger didn't have a balancing port, and it bloated the next time I charged it. After seeing them catch fire on videos I didn't want to take any chances. Even when they were "normal" I put them in an old ammo can with the lid cracked open for the wire when I charge them, just in case.

My truck is in there after you guys installed the wheels and tires. Kinda weird you put the lift specs since you didn't install the lift. I was really pleased with the service though. You guys definitely hauled the alignment out of the ditch after I got kinda screwed by the dealer.

We always tried to provide a full list of all the mods to each vehicle we post whether it be one of our full builds or one we only did a few things to. This way when our Facebook fans/customers see the pictures they know exactly what's on each vehicle. No trying to claim we did the install or take away from the owner, but simply to show the person looking at the picture the details of the mods. Glad we could get the alignment worked out for you! Thanks for your business.
