I picked up a curve 3350i for work. I cant figure out how to set up email. it only has one option under email setup- and its for the black berry enterprise server. my boss has an option to setup a regular email account. why doesnt my phone have that option listed?

    Nothing yet, brand new!
Use the email setup wizard. Follow the prompts and don't use Enterprise option if your company does not support it. Enter your standard email address and the push mail program will do the rest. Hope this helps.. There is also a Blackberry (Crackberry) thread in the technology forum someone started a while back that might help you some more.

I think you need to buy the blackberry enterprise server software and install it on your mail server, which runs like $500 per seat.

Looks like you have Nextel, correct? If so, and you have the internet service (BIS), you should be able to create an account here and setup email through the website.

Glad ya got it figured out. It is weird it's not an option on the phone though. I have T-Mobile and I have the option. I've seen people with AT&T with a curve and they subscribe to the internet service and they don't have the option to send a picture (MMS) message which is weird. All depends on the carrier I suppose.

Had Storm, gave to my step daughter, fingers too big and that kb is unforgiving. Great phone otherwise, went with omnia-stylus. Didn't want another Windows machine, but not much out there.
