Is running a relay to power the lights required, or will the existing back-up light juice be enough to run the additional lights?

I think one of Billy's bumpers will look great on this. I have been looking for something to replace the OEM chrome. Looks like it will be Standard with light buckets! Thanks for your input on the electical, guys.

    and to answer this . . .

no, running a relay is not required. As long as u have the lights on a "fused" circuit u will be fine! If u hooked up the lights straight to power and u had a power overload then the lights would blow. If u hook them up and put a fuse in between power and the lights and had a power overload then the fuse would blow and save the lights. The same thing with a relay and the same thing with a switch.

You dont have to have a fuse or a relay in a circuit if your switch has a high enough amp rating to carry the load, its just usually a good idea to have a fuse or relay in between there so that u dont blow up ur switch and only have to replace a 20 cent fuse instead

    Billy,
I know you're busy building my bumper ;);):D, but I'd like to know if these tractor back up lights will fit.

    Dimension:2 7/8" H x 5 5/8" W x 2 3/4" D. They use an L-bracket off a single rear bolt to mount. (with the bracket they are 3 1/4" tall)

(I got poor pics of the plastic package if you need them)

First post, but I couldn't resist!
My buddy borrowed my truck and bent my bumper. He's gonna pay for it - now I can get a cool, new bumper! I have a question for Billy .... I have the Sport Package on my 2005 Tacoma. Let me get this right; If I use your bumper, I would remove the hitch assembly + bumper, and then Bolt-on your bumper?
