I'm really really shooting for that trip. It will be the first time my truck will be together and see dirt in 2 years other then little side roads around town. Now that I have weekends off again it will be a lot easier to get stuff done and I have those days off work already. Talked about it with some other TW guys the other night.

Speaking of valving, What do you think needs to be the valve set for this configuration, its stiff as hell right now.. Very harsh ride.

They are valved for stock location mounts and were valved pretty stiff then too, The rear end wont really budge if you push on it.

hows it ride with the deavers? my truck at ride heght with those on the stock mounts has 1.5 of shaft left so they wont work there im guessing do a tube behind the bed support like yours and cycle and go where it needs to go off the axle. speaking of which do you have your stock leafs?

Micah, keep and eye on the resi hose come out of the shock. I'm not sure if its just my friends truck but he has blew 3 of them in the last year. I think its hitting on something at flex but we haven't flex his truck out to see if thats the issue. I would hate to see the same thing happen because its really annoying.

It's not my forte to know that stuff, Down South Motorsports did it 2x for me since i bought them cause they used to be stock length in stock location but they were so soft from the factory they would use all of the travel on the city roads, and bounce all over.. The icons i had rode 1000000000000x better in the city.

Now that I have up travel for days and 1inch of travel after full bump I figure a softer more plush ride would be better with a stiffer compressed valving.

I can always mount them on the shock body worst case, but I dont see anyway they can rub anything.

Seems like a lot of clearance.

Landon is doing a little more work to it next week since he is getting married tomorrow.

WE are adding spring hanger gussets and limit straps, I will have him take a look and the clearance of the hose.

I am going back there next week anyways because this week their bench is full of work. They have seen the truck since the work has been done, I had sonny swap out air to nitrogen yesterday.

They know their shit so i have faith he will know what to valve it at, I was just curious if anyone had a similar setup and knew what to recommend before I go.

Micah, my hoses used to rub as well and i just moved them to a different tube on my cage. Just jack up the truck from the bumper till its at full droop and see if it rubs anywhere.

Whats great is i have 3 solid locations I can mount them, the shock body, main tube and where they are now.

We will play with it and the hose is facing the rear of the truck with minimal twisting.

I have no idea on valving ,but have you taken it out offroading? I mean my truck is a little harsh on streets yet very good offroad. Another idea is to go offroading and take a vid of your truck and send it to downsouth and give them your feedback.

I'm going to use the travel gauge rubber things and romp on it over the weekend, But i'm sure the valving just needs to be softened up just a tad
