Woke up to a knock on my door this morning. "hey man, I'll give you $6,000 for your jeep! That thing looks awesome!!"

I said no way..... That's 3x what I paid for it..... I'm stupid in the morning.

I wanna keep it. It's such a cute truck, but I could have gotten a bitchin 2nd gen 4Runner for $6,000 and paid off all my debts. Faaaaaak!

It doesn't matter what any of us says. Do what you want to do. Do not go after something because you think it might pay higher in the future. You can make a ton of money and be completely miserable. I enjoy the engineering work that I do but would not recommend it unless you really like and are good at math and science.

    These are my degrees.

Thanks. I understand that I shouldn't pick just cause people say I should. I just need advice that's all. I knew computers are gonna be a lot of math and science and I hate those too haha . I can't do math for shit. I also know that picking a career Just of the money isn't a good idea and I'm
Not trying to do that at all but I don't wanna go though this college and do my career and then after that, my job hardly pays nothing and I'm stuck you know? I love cars and that's what I like doing a lot but picking it as a career, I just don't know lol. Thanks for helping me. All the advice I can get it great

Why did you pick computers as a alternative to cars ? do you have a natural knack for computers ? Messing with them, fixing them, etc ?

The world is always going to need mechanics, but financially it may not be the best thing for the future. Another thing to consider is yea its fun to wrench on your ride when your doing mods and such, but do you really want to be chasing problems on a unfamiliar car in the middle of winter when its cold, the car is cold and covered in salt and sand ?

I've always had a thing for computers. Like fixing them and stuff. Always been into that kind of stuff. I'm no expect but if anyone in my family's needs help, lm always there seeing what I can do. So yes I like doing that.

I understand what you mean. I love modding my cars and trucks and I wanna be able to fix them . Would be nice to learn all that stuff. I've always wanted to learn how they work and fix and repair them
But to see myself doing that for the Rest of my life, I just don't know. It would suck to be out in the freezing cold and fixing them haha

Do both? If I had the time and cash I would. Both computers and cars are my hobbies, but I would have a tough choice choosing only one for a career. With the ways cars are computerized these days, and the way our lived are being stored on the 'cloud', maybe doing both is a good thing lol

Yeah it's hard to choose. My mind of going insane lol. I would do both but it's of a lot of damm money. This school is so exspensive already but I feel like I'm taking out a house loan:eek: Just to go haha. But every school I checked is about the same so....... I might just choose auto but still thinking.

I love my new truck but miss my Tacoma
I have two very good friends that went to New England Tech. One for computers and the other for graphic design/engineering. They both do very well for themselves making over six figures. Good luck with your decision.

Figured out what happened to my sliders! The owner of the company who I was dealing with, was out of the country, and the guys in his shop ended up losing my box in the corner of his shop and not shipping them. He's personally shipping them tomorrow.

Kinda pissed I have been waiting for 2+ months for these things, but some people wait 6+ for bumpers, so I can't complain!

Can't wait to get rid of these fucking running boards

IT tech is fixing operating systems and "my printer doesn't work!!!" It requires no math, aside from the occasional password that's ABC123

My dad did the bigger version of IT Tech for partners health care. He ran updates for their entire fleet of computers! That's all the computers in MGH, Brigham and Women's and the other major hospitals in Boston.

Not once did he use math. But each instance is unique.

I think you just made the decision for yourself right there... computers are your thing. You can always learn to turn wrenches on your own as a hobby.
