I love the Dura Tracs, too, but the Hankook Dynapro MT actually out-performed the Dura Trac, Kelly TSR, Toyo MT and a bunch of those other well know off-road tires (which really surprised me) in an all-around deal! I believe it was in 4x4 Offroad Mag or something.

I bet the Dura Tracs would get you better winter traction than the KM2s would. I really like both those tires, but the Dura Trac has a little more to them for the winter needs.

I had the Procomp Extreme A/T's. Very heavy tire...

    What!?

Dont get a M/T for winter. Didnt you hear all of us giving Ben shit for using his last winter.
Just buy a second set just for winter. Thats what i did. I got some really aggressive 265's for $400 and they were amazing. I even wheeled them too, i put them down to 10psi and wheeled out of a huge icy hill following my friend on 33 MT's who was at 8psi.

I love my BFG A/T KO's in the winter. Would love the mud tires for summer and wheeling use. Mud tires for the winter do not have an advantage. Lol. Siping is what you want for winter use. KM2's were fine the first winter but after the first 25% wears out and you loose half the sipes it does have, they suck bad! Lol. Angles and siping, making icy roads their bitch since the first BFG A/T. Lol.

Yeah, I run the same tire year round! Love 'em for what they do! Wish they were better for mud.

This will be my first winter on the BFG A/Ts. Which is the real reason I have the 4x4 in the first place, I got it to go up anywhere in the mountains in any weather for the sole purpose of snowboarding. Good to hear that they do great in the snow. Last winter when I bought the truck before I got the 33" BFGs the tires were pretty bald, and had zero lateral grip...none. If I wasnt on the gas around a sharp turn i just slid sideways lol. Those tires sucked. Good thing It didn't even snow last winter.

ya, they do great for pretty much everything I have encountered. I hate mud so I don't care about that too much;) Plus I just love how the 33s look on the 15" rim.

Do you snowboard matt? I would suspect living in mccall you would. Riding and hitting the pow is my life in the winter. Of course I have no objections to a whole park day if the snow is lacking. As long as Im not riding pure ice or cement i coulnt be happier.

Thats part of the reason I want to get a good winter set...i am driving to the hill almost weekly. the other half is we go into the hills alot in the winter for snow runs and fires and just messing around.
