Warm sunny days and cool dry night make the tundra and just about anything begin to change. Rain, sleet, and early snow kill the color and the leaves just fall off for the winter.

good to know, Its pretty sweet up at those elevations.

Did anyone hear about the guy that left his dog at 13,000 feet for 8 days? Poor pup almost didnt make it, a group of guys hiked up to rescue the dog and threw him in a backpack and brought him back to safty.

WTF? Where is that story and where does that Dipshit live? I am going to drop his ass at 13k for 8 days and see how he survives. That shit pisses me off.

here you are, its a sad story and why my pup stays at home when we hike.

    http://www.9news.com/rss/story.aspx?storyid=283116

We followed a trail of blood all the way down Gray's, every two feet or so we would spot a blood spot on rocks, looks like the paws were bleeding and the owners might not have known it. Think about how much blood that dog lost hiking down for 4 miles and 3700 feet of elevation loss. SAD

No linky but I googled it myself and read it. Makes me more upset to find out it was a GSD, I am partial to them you know. :)

    You fixed it. NM.

    yeah, sorry ha ha ha

such a good looking pup, I just dont understand why he wouldnt try and go back up for the dog. Or hell try and get a bunch of people together the first day and get her down of the mountain. We had probably 100 people on the trail on grays. Im sure people would have helped. I know i would have helped the dog that was bleeding on our hike if i ever saw it, we just kept hoping that the dog was ok as we watched the blood spots from the summit all the way to the parking lot, and Grays is a long long hike up and down.

Me too.. I checked the relay that people say does that and it did the same thing when I swapped it out. AC was working and did have a noise when it kicked in. Now... no "noise'' but all pullys are spinning on the compressor. At this point I'll probably wait until spring time to fix it since it will be cooling off by the time I fix it.

Unless you want to put a compressor / drier in tomorrow for cheap

Pondering getting another Tacoma instead of a tundra. Would have to be radiant red TRD sport, 4 door, short bed, manual. It will be a MC for sure Sean status. :)
