    Well i walked out to my truck today and the battery was dead. I am not sure If i left anything on to kill it, but I know the headlights shut off automatically. Any idea what could have caused it or is mine really done for at 26K miles

    I'm sure that it isn't anything major with only 26k miles on it - unless you've messed around with wiring.... Replace the battery and see if that works. :)

    Im gonna jump it this evening when everyone is done with class then take it to advanced auto to get it tested. This wouldn't be covered under warranty would it?

    Quite possibly... I'd call and ask... especially if it is NOT the battery. :)

    Dgerm, Battery "should" be covered, but I think its a call on the dealers part. FWIW, Honda replaced my Wifes battery when she was clearly out of warrenty. :)

    hahahah nice posts! Thanks chris Is there anything i could have done to kill it? The only things I can think of is leaving the map lights on or maybe my door wasnt shut all the way but the doors were shut...

    I want to say that the battery is pro-rated.

    You're probably better off heading over to Sears to get one of their batteries.

    Interior light shuts off by itself after some time. Nothing off the top of my head that you could have done. Batteries usually last me only 2 years fwiw.

    From what I hear, the Platinum Sears battery is the same thing as the Odyssey.

    When my battery dies next summer I will spring for the Sears Platinum.

    When I got my oil changed at 30k miles they swapped in a battery cuz they said mine was going dead. I would think your warrenty would cover as mine did.

    Ya i just called toyota and the dealer. Toyota told me it is replaceable under warranty and the dealer asked if I would be able to get it in on my own, and if not they would pick it up.
    I am going to be honest I have only had excellent experiences with my dealer down here!
