This is what I was wondering. It would be nice to hook up the Entune hu to a pre-'12 JBL equipped Tacoma.

in my opinion...it wont be worth installing an entune headunit in a pre-12 tacoma...u can easily find an aftermarket headunit with tons more features on it

There is no question this is the case but I have always leaned towards keeping things as OEM as possible.

I totally agree with you man, I'm the same way lol...just some things are a little too much $$$ to keep them/make them as close to stop :D

slightly off topic but do you guys now if you can plug and play swap JBL speakers in for Base speakers and tweeters? Or do they have different wiring plugs?

Would it be possible to modify the mounts so the radio sits further back into the dash with less gap?

Do you think the Under surround, that holds the AUX and A-Trac and all that swap? I don't know if you got a chance to look at that, just wondering since I have to take mine apart anyway

From what I've seen, the radio plugs haven't changed on the normal radio idk about the JBL ones

But the a/c vents have 2 plugs and the 2nd plug that plugs into the right side of the panel that activates the a/c and recirculation is a different plug
