    Yeah.
That design looks VERY similar to the Losi 22.

Tony have you seen the Duratrax 835B? 1/8th scale nitro buggy.

I wonder if they're worth $350? How would they be compared to a ReadySet Kyosho inferno? I think those go for about $370

I looked/read a butt load about them, I love the layout, kinda wished I'd went that way instead of a Durango DEX408. But Serpent parts are kinda pricey. Don't overlook the old trusty AE RC8.2e, about $100.00 cheaper for the kit.

Meh, if you want a starter Nitro buggy/truggy. Check out the Hot Bodies D8/D8T (HPI has a RTR version D8S). They are cheap, and the plastics are great. Personally I'd stay away from Duratrax
Durango DEX408 is good as well, plus parts are dirt cheap

Anything in particular about the dex408 that makes you feel that way?

The car needs to set up perfectly to handle well, I'm getting closer. Durango instruction manuals are the worst I've ever seen, no help, no tips no up dates. I bought mine used but new/built. My best bud bought a DEX410v3 that had all sorts of badly machined parts, again horrible instructions, parts in wrong parts bags. It didn't even come with any shock pistons, (had the regular ones, not the ones for the "fat" shocks) or dust boots for the drive shafts. Manual didn't even give a starting point for what shock oil/pistons to try, (no shock oil either) just gave a website to see what the pros are running. Over all kinda disappointing of a model this pricey.

I shoulda bought a RC8.2e (all my buds run them) I just like to have something different from everybody else. Those AE cars seem dialed right out of the box.

I can kind of see why they'd leave out setups.. not having a generic one printed out does kind of blow but they're usually so out dated that you'll be way off and rebuilding 3 diffs + shocks because pros aren't using the same oil as your stock sheet is kind of lame. I just recently did this with my sc10, built all 4 shocks only to find out that not only was the oil recommendation off for what i would be running but also the amount of spacers inside the shocks so it was a complete tear down. In retrospect, if I had a "hey go here" website with pro setups, that would have been awesome. Plus it saves printing costs I guess lol
