Like has been said, SB 249 is off the table, Atleast for the time being. We need to remove Yee from office, and any free will opposing Democrats that are attacking our Constitutional rights.

 

It was too much of a fiscal risk for the state. If they demanded I turn in my $2500 rifle without compensation, you bet your sweet ass I'd file a lawsuit. Not to mention they'd apparent have to rebuild the entire California DROS system and websites. There's several million $$ worth of waste

 

Quashing these laws is child's play compared to removing these idiots from office with the district boundaries drawn so the seats are safe, and a serious challenger not getting any funding or support from their party.

 

I have been blasting SB249 info so much people think I'm a political activist now. But really, I don't want my rights and my guns STOLEN from me.

 

NRA liason Ed Worley said today that the grassroots have been melting the phones down at the kalifornia legislature about SB249 - great work everyone!

Long range optics, My buddy is going to hook me up with a Nikon P223 3-9x40. He has a connection at Nikon for Optics. Its Not expensive but from the review its pretty decent. I'm planning on goin to LA outdoors range pretty soon to do some iron sight distance shot.

 

Have a quick question. I am currently redoing my upper to make it more three gun friendly. I am going to run a 18in .223 wyldle barrel with rifle lenght gas system. I was looking at a samson evolution 12.37in rail system. Will that be long enough to cover the gas system or do I need to go with thier 15 in version. Thanks

 

rifle gas port is located at 13 inches on the barrel from the receiver end. i think to completely cover most lo-pro gb you need a 13.2" rail IIRC.

Well since my dad won't let me get my own AR-15, he's going to let me use his Bushmaster M4 until then. So that's good I guess.

 

At 17, you can't legally purchase a long gun... have to be 21 for a handgun.

Your dad can buy one and gift it to you, but an FFL can not transfer a firearm to a minor.

 

I know. I pay for it, but he buys it in his name and gifts it so yeah. Lol

 

Legally, that's a straw purchase and illegal.

He can buy it intending to gift it to someone else, but he can not use someone else's money to buy it and then give it to him.
