Just pull the battery terminals for 20 minutes, right? Or do you have the special reader?

I hear that. My dad always told me if you need a tool once, then borrow it. If you need it again, buy one.

I will just let Rob do it. Its not good to get him all excited for nothing at his age. My dash is also currently ripped apart to install my in cab winch controls.

What about the UG or Scangauge, they'll clear codes right? I have the UG but haven't thrown a code since I got it.

Great advice! I borrowed some of Rob's tools and ended up buying my own now.

Rob, that pry bar set you have is sweet! I bought a Harbor Freight set for $20, 4 pry bars, all different sizes.

The gauges will pull and clear codes. I am leaning towards the UG now. Seeing as this is the second time I would need one.

I had a speedo malfunction and all these things started beeping in my truck.

The UG helped me clear everything!

The only apple products I really use is my iPod, after my first one died, I bought a newer one. I have to reset it every other day so it works lol.

I wouldn't mind a scanguage II. I prefer that on because it fits right just on top of the steering column. I already have my phone and my radar detector around mt dash.
