Ahh I see. Glad you got it out safely! So that whole patch of trees were dead? They all look like the one trapping your truck! Why were they all dead? Disease?

At home for a feww mintes longer then I have to leave for about an hour and I'll be back for a bit

Only one trapping me was the one against the rear quarter panel. Once that was out, I powered forward and up the hill to make multiple tries backing up. Tree was 50 feet tall (I have to get a video of felling it off my wife's phone still) and dead all the way up. They talked about taking it down months ago. And what you couldn't see was the side toward the cab. No bark and rotted out. In fact, the whole inside was rotted and full of giant ants.

 

Ew gross!! Those are the kind that bite too I bet! Good thing your truck is okay though. Saw the pics of the compost. Crazy deep.

I was staring and staring and staring at the vid saying to myself "What am I looking at??" till that last BUMP! And it literally made say OH! because I totally did not expect that.

 

I was waiting for something to break or a tire to blow up.

Well last night three guys had their heads all up in the wheel well so now I know what they were looking at. So this vid is actually important.

 

lol. they are touching the threads on the u bolt. Guess the axle is shifting back just enough and its light grazing the pad. May have to figure out a new pad or new shackle flip plate.
