    Such a smooth gun. I had the .45. But, I got rid of it. Only so many times I could conceal it. And the ammo was expensive to shoot weekly.

    It's nice. Just didn't feel great spending 20 bucks on a box of 50 rounds. I "downgraded" to a Ruger SR9C. I love the 9 but I miss the 45. Only thing with the XDm I don't miss is the palm grip safety. It didn't feel "safe" to me for a quick draw.

    No, the 45 would not be a good gun for your size. I would go with the 9mm for you on that gun. But, unless you get the compact it isn't great for a CC. 4.5" barrel can really get in your way.
