So apart from the actual amount of lift, what is the difference between a spindle lift vs new shocks and coilovers?

5100's front and rear, front 2.5" rear 2" AAL, 18% tint front and rear, color matched grill. SCS wheels 275/70/17 BFG AT KO's. DTRL toggle switch.
Spindle 2 wheel drive only. I think minimum lift is 4" and you replace your spindles and can keep factory coil-overs. I think you also retain the same stock ride for the most part. People that have spindles say its the best way. Also you will need a large rear lift to compensate for the high front lift.

Coil-overs 0-3+ inches of lift might need UCA's loose stock ride comfort.

So basically for a 2 wheel drive spindles is the way to go?

Does it give any more travel?

No, the suspension is still the same

Spindles are the way to go if you want a lift on a 2wd, correct

oaky cool, where can i get just a spindle lift? i know fabtech offers with two new front and two new rear shocks and an AAl, but what if i want just the spindle? im thinkin if i can get the spindle lift to do 4 inches up front, then i can go with a 2 in AAl and a 1 in shackle for a level ride...any suggestions? also, what would happen if i got the spindle and a larger coil up front, would it add lift in addition to the spindle?

Not trying to jack this. I am also interested. How does it retain factory ride and all with 4 inches of lift? Thought over 3 inches of lift without a drop bracket lift you don't have any down travel

with the lift spindle all it does is lower the hub assembly down to gain the lift you will also widen the distance between the front wheels but only slightly. the uca and lca stay in the same place and the stock steering geometry is kept stock. you will still have the same amount of up and down travel as you did before putting the lift spindle on.
