    Howzit all,
    When starting the spindle install do you install with both tires off or one side at a time? Wouldn't it be safer with one side tire on? Complete one side then go to the next

    This thread and the six inch lift pic thread are killing me!!! I already have the Toytec spring spacer kit from my 08 prerunner. Thinking I want to do spindles with 5100's set at 0 and the 885x springs in the front and a 5 inch leaf pack in the back!!! Anyone running this setup???

    I'm thinking about spindles for my prerunner. My goal is to install bigger tires (285/70R17) and to have a smooth ride mostly for the street and some occasional trail riding. I know that may people like the 4" lift that the spindles give, but it seems like there's a pretty big gap between the tire and the fender unless I go with even bigger tires.

    I don't see any spindle options for 3" of lift, so I'll probably just go with OME or 5100s + AAL (or some combination within those).

    Opinions? Options?

    5100's front and rear, front 2.5" rear 2" AAL, 18% tint front and rear, color matched grill. SCS wheels 275/70/17 BFG AT KO's. DTRL toggle switch.
    ^^^ I think it will be a little harder to fir 285's with a 3" lift. I think that the spindles will fit 285's a little easier. Also with spindles the front wheels stick out of the fender more. You will need a wheel with at least a 4.5" BS or spacers to run the spindles.
