An FJ!! Well if you have any questions to help decide, let me know. I can certainly help out with specs on most any year. You can easily find a modded one used, and even if you get a stock mall crawler that's never been offroad (great idea - lots of those!) with rear lockers/Atrac- just slap a good pair of tires and it'll do whatever you want it to! lol!

 

Is this weekend too soon, maybe 25th? Lets try to get a big group out.

For sure. Kinda like the idea of a closed trunk, not using the bed very often.

Hey does anyone know if it's bad to have your exhaust turn down before the rear axle? Can the exhaust fumes be bad for under the chassis? Also is there a law saying that the exhaust needs to port out the rear or the side?

 

Exhaust can exit side or rear, must be BEHIND the cab.

 

Aug 25th would be a better idea for a coffee meet. I will be in Penticton this coming weekend.

 

Okay cool, cuz I got a cat back exhaust that turns down right before the rear axle, right where the stock muffler ends

Yah I see that a lot. Chopped off above the rear axle as to not crush the tail pipe when offroading.

 

As I wont be able to make the meet, I'll show off here

anyone know any decent shops that will weld on sliders that doesn't charge a left nut?
