    I'm only at about sea level here, but I go up to Mt. Hood just about twice a week from November-April which is our snow season. :p



    I haven't had any traction issues yet, but I'm usually driving through fresh snow up to maybe 7-8" tops (maybe up to a foot on special occasions. ;)). The fresh soft stuff is the easiest to drive in though. The few times I've experienced icy inclines though I still didn't have any issues. At least not yet! :eek:



    My tires are siped as well, I feel like that has made at least a slight difference.

    Ok everyone, I have a couple of thoughts here. I was thinking about getting a tool box for the bed of my truck. Im not sure what brand is "good". I defiantly want a black low profile one. I also want to get a small air compressor to mount inside as well as a tool bag, battery (or all in one jump starter), and maybe mount some backup lights on the lid of the tool box. Thoughts?

    On a previous truck I had a low profile Kobalt tool box I picked up at Lowe's that held up great. It was stainless diamond plate and the quality was very good. I don't know if they make it in black but you might check online.

    All i can find on lowes is a steel low profile. and its 250 bucks.. :eek:
