5100 @ 1.75 with 1.5 Wheelers progressive aal - before - after pics

    In case anybody is looking to do this setup here are before and after pics
    It took me a while to decide and it can get expensive, but this is what I went with and I'm am very happy with the look and ride.

    Looks Good :thumbsup:. How many leafs did your original pack contain, was it 3 or 4 leaf. I am assuming 3, if so you would have a total of 6 leaf now?

    I had the TSB done so it had 3 plus overload, now it has the 1.5 3 leaf progressive. So 7 including the overload

    Ive been considering different options to raise my rear. I have the 4 leaf pack and most likely will go the same route. What rear shocks are you using?

    I have the 5100's in the back - just the normal ones not extended - Wheelers Offroad said they would be plenty long enough

    Is that billy's at all four corners our just up front? I'm trying to figure out what's best to do? I want a little lift, but I don't want to start replacing uca's or wearing anything out prematurely. I read on one post (been looking for it but can't find it again) that if you put the billy's on 1.75 you could wear out the cv axle I think it was, Is that a possibility with this set up?
    I've been thinking of doing Billys on all four corners or maybe just Billys up front, but when I read this post It gave me the idea of doing them up front with the Icon progressive leaf in the back if that's what you have indeed done.
    Other than your occasional country dirt road I don't do any off roading, I'd rather keep my ride soft, and the amount of rake you have looks the best to me, so any wisdom anyone could share would be appreciated

    Just realised, you answered one of my question already. Would it have been possible to keep the rear shock's stock with the aal or is that not a good idea. Just thinking if I can keep my ride close to stock and save some bucks.

    I have 5100's in the front and back I would put them in the back if you are going to have them in the front. It will be a nicer ride to have them on all 4 corners, but that is just what I think.
    I am no expert by any means and I asked a lot of questions before I lifted my truck. The 1.5 wheelers progressive aal rides real nice.

    I would like to know more on this as well. To the op or anyone else, how is the heavy duty progressive compared to the original? the price is so close it seems like why not go with the the heavy duty, but does it rise to rough?

    I dont have any personal experience with this but I would assume the HD springs would ride a little rougher cause of the preload factors.
