Nice! I can barely afford the lease & license (which is $300 alone)in GA let alone a guided hunt in Texas or anywhere else for that matter.
    Good luck!

Nice man. Starting to rub velvet on some. Most still soft tipped. Surprisingly awesome bucks free ranging during drought. Hell,I still owe taxi money from last year axis slam.
Started a small food plot last week, keeping it watered. Looking promising.

I put a stand up a while back and have had my uncle seed some areas. Our trail cam's are catching 10 point monster's. I'll be out there end of this week and hopefully put down Mr. Man that's been strutting around.

Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
    :pout:

I think I'm resigned to a corn pile/attractant in the 40 yd strip of trees behind my house with a bow. I've seen a lot of tracks, but I haven't seen any of the actual deer.

Some recent pix off the trail camera. Rifle deer is mid-thru the end of October here in WA. With four days of late buck in November.

I'm looking forward more to the elk season. I muzzeload the first week of October and end of Nov-mid Dec.

    Getting excited!

I've always wanted to go elk huntin. My uncle owns a ranch in Colorado and he told me anytime I wanna come shoot one I could. But the license I'm guessing is expensive and the plane ticket too
