Does anybody know were i can get a cap to cover up that hole? I taped a white piece of plastic behind it but, I'm looking for a actual rubber cap.

Can I ask why you don't have an antenna or want to just buy another one?

I think just leaving your old antenna there, even if it doesn't function, will look a hell of a lot better than any rubber plug or the tape.

Only real solution that will look good is shave it. Weld in a filler panel, do body work and repaint the fender.

or find some sort of plastic plug that will fit in and try to spray paint it the color of the truck...I'd rather have an extra antenna then that though.

Only other thing I can think of is maybe the base, base model tacoma didn't come with an antenna and there is a factory filler panel available some where??

I know on the Chevy S10 "base base/fleet" models had a plug instead of an antenna.

You most definitely can't just "bondo" over the hole, it'll crack as soon as the weather changes or the fender flexes. Welding or panel fusor is the only option. I had an S10 that had everything shaved, even done properly over time the filler plates/body work can "pop" or crack.

    Nope.

Cheapest of the cheap 5-lug base model 2.7 regular cabs (my truck) still have AM/FM/CD

Cleanest solution without body work would be a European stubby.

Vinyl wrap. My local audio shop uses vinyl wrap for covering antennas and whiper assemblies. Re guy always comes into my work ill ask him when I see him what its actually called and where to biy it.

Use that hole to put in a nice chrome 2" trailer ball.
Then have a few beers with your buddies and come up with a great story about what you use that ball for.
