My dad wants to buy a 16' boat. You think I would be able to tow it with the defined sua kit?

 

Do you have the XL leaf pack or regular pack?

 

its the pack with the extra leaf...but I might be removing it before install. The boat will weight no more than 2500 lbs or so

 

eh we will see. like i was mentioning before I can hit dirt all the way to work so in a sense yes. Ill se how it handles in day to day driving but im going to buy a beater once I get home as well. From what ive been told the body roll is crazy and its prob even more difficult to keep in between the lines. I am having em keep all the stock lights so it will be "street legal" for now.

 

Its a little funky driving a link on the street. But it is kind of fun too!!
My good friend drove a linked I-beam ranger and it was interesting. But he had 20+ inches of travel in the front and over 25 in the rear. We used to scare people in that thing

 

is it just the body roll? or lots of rise and drop in braking and stuff? cuz they do put sway bars on them right?

 

It might not be too bad cause im sticking with the bolt on front kit for now. It might keep the rear in check on regular street driving. now if I go center pivot that might make things fun.

 

Both. And yes you should put a sway bar on if needed, but some setups can get away without needing them

 

Speaking of Links, Tyler how is yours coming along?

Started mounting and cycling this weekend, pain in the butt to do without help haha
