I'll ask fastenal to track em down for you guys. Thought they would have made it by now

I guess i'm the only one receiving sliders in Kona?? Is there a contact at Fastenal I should call? I haven't received a call from Fastenal or any other GBer thats in Kona.

 

Im gonna call tomorrow and see whats the haps.

 

Daryl, there is one set in addition to yours on the big island pallet. They were sent to the Kona store for ya, go ahead and check in tomorrow since I know some have made it to Oahu now.

 

just called fastenal. the shipment came in but there are no labels to who/what goes where. spoke to Jamon (spelling) & Brian called the 1808-456-0871 for pearl city. I called at 7am and they finally called me back at 2p

 

Just got a call from fastenal that my sliders are in.

You wouldn't happen to have a picture of what my sliders look like do you? I have a feeling all our stuff is mixed up pretty badly.

 

Each set has the name of the intended recipient written on them, should be easily identified.

I dont, but there shouldnt be errors. Trust me I triple checked since they were getting sent all the way across the pacific!

Jamey, I am making it right. The sliders will be shipped by Thursday at the latest, I've been short my shop help for the last week due to him getting an unexpected surgery. Sorry I didn't get back to your pm over the weekend, I just responded a few minutes ago then saw your post... I had said in the PM to see if you could continue with looking for a buyer, if you'd prefer to then drop them at fastenal when you get the chance and I'll deal with return shipping on the sliders.

 

6 months give or take + 2 and a half hours in Oahu's shitty traffic to finally get my sliders.

 

Damn you have traffic that bad over there?

I picked up my sliders today from the Pearl City Fastenal. My name was clearly written on my set, but no phone numbers were with the shipment (according to the guys at Fastenal). If you are on Oahu and are awaiting shipment, contact the Pearl City Fastenal store, the guys there are very helpful. Thanks Relentless, they look good. Now I need to figure out the best way to coat them and a good shop to get em welded on!

 

Pamalu is offering us a killer deal on professional bedliner. Plan B is hooking up the welding. Check some of the later posts on this thread for more info.

Unfortunately not everyone provided a phone number as I had requested initially in the GB, so i've emailed those that I've heard have arrived(included my phone number as a substitute). Havent got a call from Fastenal yet? Check your email inbox.

 

How much am I looking at from Pamalu for liner? Do you know the price for welding at Plan B as well?

 

It's one of the trade-offs of living on Oahu. There are a bunch of better reasons to live here though!
