Hey guys. Can you adjust coilovers while they are on the truck. Im pretty sure you can but im not sure. Also, mine have been sitting in the same spot for a while. How hard is it to break the threaded collar loose if they are tight?

Ok cuz i wanna set them at 0. They have barley any preload and its sitting way high because they are extended travel and i have spindles. Do you have a spanner wrench that would fit an icon i can barrow by any chance?

Don't set them at 0 Preload, Springs require some preload, a thread or two showing is enough, don't just top out the retaining ring.

My Kings have an Allen screw that holds the retainer ring halves together and keep it tight. You have to loosen the allen a turn or two and it will move freely when you have the wheels off the ground

Yes, and you want some pre-load. But not too much.
And you defenetly dont want the springs to rattle around at full droop. So jack the truck up to set your preload. You dont want anything loose. Start with a thread or two showing. And go from there by how it feels when you drive
