My 2006 DC did not have the owner's manual, so i found one on ebay. What a lame manual. A bit of Japanese English on page 380 I think. All the fuses are listed as good or brown (blown)...hehe

I am convinced dealers make a ton on service and the limited manual is an attempt to force us back to the dealer for everything. Maybe they will wipe my nose too>>>

I guess I will have to buy the repair manual. Any opinions about the Toyota Repair Manuals

I have a Chilton manual for my 98 Camry, which is very well done. I am waiting for them to prepare one on the 2005+ Tacoma.

I take back my comments on the lameness of the owner's manual. I finally found the fuse list. I will give it a mediocre rating now.

What is the Title of the manual you got?? Cause it sounds like you got screwed with some second rate BA manual. My owners manual is good for the basics...and the links above are where I get all my real info for anything...

And it doesn't sound like the one you have is either of those...

X2 on that. Computers are nice but I miss my Chilton manual with its filthy grease stained pages. I did all my own work with it on the fender or garage floor.

I haven't purchased the service/repair manual yet but it's on the list. All 4 manuals from Toyota were quoted over the phone at close to $500, not chump change. However, I intend to have the truck for a LONG time, the correct information is invaluable. For comparison 2005 Honda Civic manuals run about $150, and my shop manuals for my '72 914 were $300.

In '89 when I bought my first Toyota truck I bought the Chassis and Electrical Manuals for $60. In '97 I bought a Tacoma and they wanted $350 for the same manuals. Does that tell you something? Don
