Sorry man hope your boy gets better soon. :(

Oh no I havent paid shit yet you kidding me. lol Those are just the estimates they gave us for repairs. Parents were the ones to take it in the first place. Dealerships are the last resort for me. Brother is picking it up today. If I was going to shovel out that kinda money id just put a payment down on a used single cab 2nd gen tacoma. Its my first vehicle so I understand its gonna have so complications. Focus on one problem at a time you know.

    Thanks.

Driving jobs in the EagleFord are straying to get to picky. Less work hours and short work weeks and they require you to be on call on your days off. If I found work in that area I would want to come home for my days off. I wouldn't plan on building a home in that area.

Yeah that would require to relocate.

I saw a job post in Monahans paying 28 an hour with a 60+ hour work week. I like the idea of moving out there, but my bride to be wants to move to a more "happening" city. Not the middle of nowhere.

Out of the numerous calls I've received about my truck, I don't think anyone has a clue about anything on or inside it. I think half of them have been 15/16 year olds looking for their first car and have no clue what they are even looking at. The other half are just idiots I think lol.

Guy called me today I told him the price and was like, "Well that seems a bit high. I found one that's the same year with 10k more miles than yours and he's wanting 15 for his." That's about 10 thousand less than mine. He said it wasn't the same edition as mine so I'm assuming it is probably one of the more simpler ones at that price.

I don't understand people these days.

I don't know if you meant Chrysler as a whole when you put Hemi, I'll assume you were as the 5.7 is actually a very reliable engine. I've heard that since 06 IIRC, the new transmissions have been hit or miss and the new gen has a slight lag when punching it from 40-60 when downshifting. Other than that, I haven't heard of any regular or normal problems out of the new rams. It also gets the best fuel mileage of the full size trucks other than the Ecoboost. I dont know about the other models or trucks though.

Now the rest of Chrysler, I can't speak about other than the Challenger/Charger/300 and those are very reliable as well.

    Should have.

I also wrote down the mileage and price on the for sale sign(should have done that before) hoping that I can get serious inquirers now, not just some random joe who doesn't know anything.

Hey Lewis, you going to be up in Dallas later in the week for GATS? I will be there on Friday. PM me if you need tickets. Last year there were a ton of companies looking for drivers.
From what I have heard about the Eagleford the county is growing and developing. I grew up hunting family land down there and the amount of change there is unreal. Not exactly a "happening" city but Austin or San Antonio are not real far away.

I would love to go, but will probably be working. I have always wanted to go. I'm sure there's tons of companies there hiring for eagleford area at GATS. As for finding work im still gonna hold out for this local gas hauling company. I drive thru EagleFord every week and yeah its scray to see so much activity out there. Thank you so much for the offer man. Maybe next year! Take some pics for me man while your there.
