    They haven't been terrible this year and typically leave you alone if you're next to the campfire. How allergic are you? Like anaphylactic shock allergic? Pick up a bee keeper suit and you'll be fine....its a long drive to any medical center.

    You know how if you get a mosquito bite, you get a small red bump? I get big red welts. :eek:


    I have allergy medicine and an Epipen if it gets bad though. I've never had to use it though, despite numerous bites during a camping trip last summer in the Southern California mountains, where there's lots of mosquitos.

    Yea the flys weren't that bad really and no mosquitoes. There were a bunch of little natt like bugs but nothing bad. I didn't need repellent at all.

    probably wont need it..but nice to bring anyways

    We've got reservations for 6pm at Red's on 7th and Oak - they're under my name. Parking is a pain there, might be better off to park across the street at Famous Dave's and walk over....
