2012 NCAA Football Thread

We might lose to UF, just because of history. I think they might still be in our heads, no matter how bad they are, it's a tough game.

You guys act like you completely destroyed us last year. The final was, what, 45-42? And it wasn't your offense that beat us, it was your defense taking advantage of our offense's mistakes. 3 defensive Tds and a ST TD. The lead changed 4 times in the last 20 minutes of the game. Don't act like you guys were FAR superior to us last year. Yea, you won, and yea, we snuck in the back door to the SECCG, but don't act like you destroyed us. You squeaked by.

 

I never said we killed UGA. Our offense didnt win the game, but you have to win all 3 phases to win football games. Squeaking by looks the same in the standings. And I didnt say we would destroy UGA this year. But you act like its a far fetched idea that we win in columbia in our house. History hasnt helped the dawgs the last 2 years and it wont help them this year.

Georgia scores the winning touchdown in the final minutes as the ball bounces back to quarterback Andy Johnson after a botched handoff, and he runs for the game-winning 8-yard touchdown. “My God! Georgia beat Tennessee in Knoxville! Georgia has defeated Tennessee 35-31 in Neyland Stadium!” Munson says.

 

Seems I posted this in last years thread, but if game times permitted, while tailgating at Auburn, we would dial up a Dawg network out of Columbus and listen to Munson call games. Especially liked the re-cap of the games.

He was a wordsmith, but I didn't realize he was from up North, I knew he didn't sound Southern.
