I noticed you have a 2012, I've only done 05-11 but it should be the same, I'll have to research. Lemme know when your parts come in then we can set something up.

Oahu members. just got these headlights. using them for my retrofits. there pretty much smoke, with no amber on the corner. just a few question. do you guys think this is illegal for not having the amber part? and since the lense itself is smoke, do you guys think it'll affect the way the projectors project lights(if that makes sense)?

I'm pretty sure amber reflectors are a safety/recon item, hence why my clear corners are technically illegal

but I dont think the smoked housing should diminish the projectors that much, they look clear enough to let lots of light through.

my tails are smoked but they don't dim my LED's much at all

Yeah the amber corners are DOT required. As for the projector, it will require a HID which is also illegal and won't pass safety inspection. But, you can do what I do and run it anyway and buy a cheap used OEM set and switch them out once a year for inspections.

dylpickel2004- got them off of eBay. it was from a private seller. it doesn't have any stamping of any manufacturer on the light housing, so I can't really tell you who makes it.

damn, that's what I was afraid of. but since I'm gonna retro it out, I might as well run it right hahaha. we'll see, I'll keep my stock ones on the side in case I get enough tickets from the popos to validate in putting it back :D

we'll see when everything is put together. I know it won't be as badass as FX-R or the high end kits. went with this for the easy install, affordability, and it has a lot of good reviews. by the way I got my kit off of TRS.
