    I've been asking around here (here is pretty far north of you guys) and the general consensus is I'm going to drop at least 1500 for front bumper, rear tire carrier HC, and bed rack. BUT they do it right, meaning sandblast, phosphorus bath, dry, zinc primer?? bake, spray, bake. I think that's how it went. When all is said and done it anywhere from 4-6mm thick and solid. The guy says he redoes a lot of lower 48 powdercoaters work because it isnt up to par. Seemed legit.

    I just couldn't quite remember if it was indeed a zinc primer or if I had made that up in my brain. Sounds right though. I'll stick with it until proven otherwise.

    :eek: that's pretty pricey compared to down here .. I coated my front bumper for $125, bed rack for $175, and the rear bumper should be somewhere in-between .. my coater is high-quality stuff too - similar process to what you have mentioned.

    Ok back to being serious. Anyone know how long shipping can take with fastenal? I can't find much info on shipping with them...if he ships it friday..I would love to think it would be here by next weekend :p

    If I didn't have to worry about it being crated, trucked, barged, forked, and trucked again I'd probably just send it all to JLee as well....but I do. Unless Billy built me some sick crates and packed it like a champ? Eh? Eh? Haha we'll see. I'm a lil ways out before I buy anyways.

    I may have to drive at least 1.5 hours to a powder coater, none in my area. Maybe I will just have a body shop paint it for me! I would do it myself like some of you guys on here, but I think I will just pay someone and get it done right the first time. Thanks for the input.
