Well the shop tried a few different ideas on shackle replacement on the Defined kit but nothing would yield favorable results with the stock front spring hanger. So we took a few leafs out as the pack was pretty stiff and re-valved the rear bypasses....the oil was already froathy and black after only 5 or 6 runs since they went in :(

While I was there I had them do a rear bumper, I painted the Glassworks bumper caps and its all together. License plate folds up to reveal the hitch. Front bumper got repainted and they installed a 4th light on the bumper for some more light.

Matt the pack is too stiff? Is it the XL pack or the normal one?
I was looking forward to the new shackles :pout:

Not sure whatever Eddie ordered. What is a "XL" pack? I don't see it listed on their site.

Mine did it stock, and with my Mid Travel and then again when i went LT. Really it is the Taco lean. Your Gas tank and battery and you all sit on that side, everything breaks down and wears out faster. its not so much a matter of the weight being there, it is the fact that the spring rates have changed from wear and tear.

When i put on my new Leafs (2 times) it was level for about a week or two then started leaning again. When I moved to dual batteries and now the fuel cell in center my truck is pretty close to level again after some settling.

Its just another leaf(maybe two :notsure:) added to the pack to handle more weight. I don't know much more than that.
Thats strange how yours is too stiff, do you have a spare in the bed?

This girl just rented a car with us. Her brother races a Trophy Kart in the Lucas Oil series but her dad is thinking of buying a trophy lite.

Westin racing, anyone heard of it before?

His neighbor owns Mccarty racing dynamics who also happens to be the guy who got crashed into during the 2012 mint 400

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z1gMWkWUDI4

Apparently, the trophy lite was following the course and the jeep kept going straight instead of turning left.

Yeah I have a tire back there. You could jump up and down in the bed and it wouldn't budge much.

Eddie said back when he bought it, there was only 1 pack available at the time.

This wouldn't apply to the Giant Kit for the 2nd Gens because they're spring hangers and shackle buckets bolt-on into the holes from the OEM parts rivet holes.

Ron, have you counted/measured the leaf packs to make sure they're the same dimension (seems strange) but anything is possible with Giant

Yea there is an extra leaf added I believe he said it was the third one if u wanted to remove them. That's in a newer kit where u have the option of keeping it or removing it not sure if thats how it always was

I haven't counted or measured the leafs.. I find that would be a hard thing to mess up but I will count and measure when I get home

It would appear that it has to be soemthing to do with the leafs compositions/manufacturing. Unless there is a difference in shackle height and/or shackle bucket dimensions.
