Because I am still looking at running a modified set up allowing me to switch between 2 intake path's. One through the standard CAI and the other through the snorkel. I need the snorkel to allow me to ford streams and such but I will use it a limited amount due to the power robbing aspects of it.

I am still interested in seeing how its routed through your fender and engine compartment.

Your welcome to come take my inner fender well apart and see for your self, just remember to bring spare clips with you because you will break them taking them out.

    Where the video located?

Edit - oops thought he meant a video of his truck with the snorkel.

I'd like to see some engine shots of it too.

Engine compartment looks stock. You cant see anything from the engine compartment. The connections link directly to the stock air box (connects inside the fender).

You should see how small the inside bend is on the Safari. Thought I would be taking it off because of power loss

is there any pics of how it mates up to the factory air box? or a pic of the snorkel uninstalled so i can get a better look at it just curious.

iirc the safari snorkel's length seemed mandatory as the opening on the inner fender was pretty far forward. since this new one mounts much further back i'm assuming plumbing behind the fender makes up for the length missing on the outside seems like a good idea.

it certainly looks nicer than the safari snorkel that doesn't even fit the tacoma lol

yeah i'm just curious to see how it mounts up and how the connections are made. after seeing mine installed i'm sort of scratching my head a little thats all.

the overall design of this seems legit the fitment to the body of the truck looks very nice as well.

See, I don't think you guys understand.

On my truck (2012 Standard Cab 4 banger) the factory air box is right next to (almost touching) the fender. So, the tubing from the snorkel goes directly from inside the fender well into the factory air box. If you open my hood it looks 100% stock. There is nothing to take a picture of from under the hood.

OMG dude, I don't know how I can explain this any more clear. IT LOOKS 100% STOCK. The connection into the airbox under the hood the the STOCK CONNECTION. There is about 1" of factory tubing that goes from the air box into the fender well and the snorkel fits on that. There is absolutely NOTHING different then stock under the hood. If you cant understand that then there is no hope for you...
