    We have a race Sunday at the new track I joined. Been out in my shop since 7:30 CST (11:52 now) going through my ST. Rebuilt diff, rebuilt shocks all the way around, tore down and refurbished my CVDs, cleaned/oiled bearings throught, bagged all my rod ends. Finally had to take a break, not quite finished. Tomorrow night, I'm planning the same for my J82. Not gonna run 1/8, haven't got the track figured out. Planning on watching the hot shoes and try there lines. Bad thing, prolly gonna rain...

    sounds like a complete overhaul! nice lol i just rebuilt my shocks and got new springs (losi springs) and im trying new oil weights out. i also read a thread on tuning with camber links over at rctech so i made some changes on my mounting positions and camber settings. My truck felt really well on monday. Lets home I can keep running the lines ii was running and get some good races in.

    Yeah I pretty much went through the whole truck, sometimes I don't mind at all, others is just like a chore. I hope I'm in the mood tomorrow night, to go through my buggy.

    Playing with your links will/can make huge differences. I used fool with mine if I ever went to a different track. Now mostly, I just run a general set up.

    yeah it actually did help. but i also changed the oil and springs at the same time. i know i should only make one change at a time but that rarely happens lol

    I notice you set up sheet has you running 20wt oil. Not sure how our piston holes/numbers compare, but that "sounds" a tad light to me?

    its is a tiny bit light up front but the rear feels really good to me. Im going to up the front to 25wt and see how it works. The straight at this track is super bumpy and this soaks the bumps up really well. i was running 30wt and it felt a bit lazy if that makes any sense. lol

    How much chassis roll do you have entering a tight corner (this is where your link tuning comes into play)? I tend to tune for corners, not straights. Of course, the perfect balance between the two would be ideal. To quote a good buddy of mine, "there is not enough hours in the day".

    i dont get much body roll it actually takes the corners very well. only reason i tuned for the straight is because before when i hit full speed if i didnt get the perfect line it would buck my truck into the wall. now it just soaks up the bumps and i dont have to worry about it as much.

    Dang, I gues I just tend to think of straights as fairly smooth. Sounds like yours is very bumpy.
