    Ok quick question guys, is it ok to cut downt he diameter of a wire (2 gauge) to make it fit inside one of them little prong things that go on the bolts of a battery?

    sorry if that doesnt make sense.

    I wouldnt do it. It's a 2 gauge wire for a reason. Go to a audio shop a get a 2 gauge battery connecter

    Is fluid dripping off of it or are you just seeing a coating of oil on the outside case?

    Mine does the latter and I've read its kind of common. My friends '97 does the same thing. They never seem to leak enough to matter tho. At least mine doesn't.

    there's a coating of oil on the outside of the plate and I can see where it's getting thick and drops are starting to form (if that makes sense).. but I haven't seen anything on my driveway just some old spots. last time I used my 4x4 was in April up in the snow and it worked fine so I have no idea.....

    My transfer case looks like its leaking as well, but I can't seem to find any fresh oil or the source of it. Just looks wet around the seals.

    I sprayed mine up with brake clean to get all that oil off and have not seen it come back like it was. However, I haven't looked at it closely all summer. We'll see how it looks when I remove the BudBuilt belly pan in a few weeks to do my normal maintennence stuff. Probably change the t-case fluid at that time also.

    did a little wheelin with a buddy who received millions and lifted his chevy 6inch, nitto mud grapplers 37x17.5 and a lot more goodies. long story short he buried it and i came to the rescue in the Taco :yay: he was :crapstorm: for the rest of the night! here are some pictures from yesterday after out float down the james. the mud is still on the truck after it pouring 3 nights in a row on it.
